This comic required I dig deep into my creative graveyard! These characters have really become a part of who I am. I spend most of my waking hours thinking of them, talking to them (in my mind, at least) and trying to discover ways to bring them to life ( on paper, at least). I hope you enjoy my efforts and thank you so much for your encouragement and support!
A really special Vinnie, thanks for sharing the story with us readers. Dagnabbit!
Although Vampa was absent from this one, I was more than happy to share the story with all my friends! 🙂
Who knew Vinnie had a heart?
I love all the different angles to the shots in this one. And, it’s a great glimps into the family dynamics. Human. Vampire. We’re not that different. 🙂
Thanks, Julian! These characters are based a lot on my own insecurities. It felt good to let them out of the cage and watch them play for a while! 🙂
Holy cow, what a huge page today, Tim! Did you enjoy having all that extra room to play around in? It worked well, nicely done. -v
It was a little overwhelming, actually! I felt a little out of my comfort zone, but I had a blast with it! 🙂 Thanks for the kind comments!
I love this super-sized mega-special! You really brought forth an amazing amount of characterization in this one, Tim.
I know how hard it can be to fully flesh out your characters with only a maximum of three or four panels a pop. I would love to see a full-length VTV comic.
I can certainly identify with you about constantly thinking about your characters during your free (and not-so-free) time. I do likewise. In fact, I’m guilty of contemplating my character’s personalities and ambitions so much, and I know them so well, that I tend to forget that my readers may not have found out as much about them as I already know. It’s hard, fun, and challenging to get them up to speed along with you. 🙂
I’m sure you can relate with my comments! You have to juggle so many personalities they’ll probably name a disorder after you some day! (Ford’s syndrome, George’s disorder, etc…) I’m so lucky to have such talented people (you, George, and so many others) that get me and my passion! Thanks a lot for your support!
See? Vampires do have hearts! Very sweet strip, Tim, I can see your love for these characters shining through (it’s not sunlight, so everyone can relax). I appreciate all the work you put into this 16 panel Stripalooza!
Thanks a lot, Mark! I have so much respect for you as a peer and as a friend, your comments mean a lot to me! 🙂
Wow that is a giant effort today. Be careful or you will take the baton from George
Thanks, Bearman! I don’t think I’m quite ready to take the pebble from his hand just yet…
How many times did I cover for my sisters? I can’t even give you an estimate it was much, lol…
I had two myself so I know the feeling! Thanks for the comment!
That was an amazing full page Vinnie Vampire Webcomic! Really enjoyed it, your characters are brilliant and I love the story. Vinnie Vampire is always such fun to read, well done!
I really appreciate that, Paul! Thank you for the comment! 🙂
It’s okay to speak to your characters in your head. I do it too. Teh problem is when they begin to talk back 😉
