When I first entertained the idea of a guest comic month, one of the first people to cross my mind was Mark Stokes! I was very lucky, when I first began my comic, to come across Mark’s website. He really is a fine example of someone who really has a grasp on how a comic should be done. Not only are his comics well drawn and highly entertaining, he posts like clockwork three times a week like a pro! He’s been a great influence to me and I appreciate his support of the comic community! Now that I’ve thoroughly embarrassed him, let’s get down to business…
Mark is the artist behind “Zombie Boy“. ZB centers around the life (or death) of 11 year old Morgan McCorkindale who was turned into a zombie during a family vacation! He has a lovable devil dog named Gorr and a host of other eccentric characters to keep you entertained! Mark recently celebrated three years of Zombie Boy online…congrats Mark!
I did a ZB tribute comic last October, you can see it here.

Mark drew a wonderful comic showcasing characters from many comics, Sunny can be found in the pile. Can you spot her? ” Click to check out “Squeeka Squeeka.”
Thanks again for the awesome guest comic, Mark!
I love the backstory of vampa as a warrior. What a beautiful rendition!
I couldn’t have said it better, Michael! ๐
Great job Mark! I could tell it was your work when I saw grandpa featuring Zombie Boy’s classic evil unibrow and grin. ๐
That expression has “Mark Stokes” written all over it! ๐
Excellent guest art from Mark today, Tim!
Thanks, David, I really appreciate Mark’s guest comic! ๐
Wow, Vampa is a power to recon with.
Great comic Mark!
Vampa’s the original bad-a**!
You got that right, Mark! ๐
Vampa was a stud in his day
The studliest stud that ever studded! ๐
Thanks everybody for the nice comments! Iโve always enjoyed Vampaโs spunk. These days he fights mostly with his tongue, but in my imagination whenever his spittle is flying, I picture him in warrior garb in brutal battle with a small army of his enemies.
The next time you see Vampa cutting Vinnie down at the knees, remember heโs actually being nice. There was a time when he did that literally! I was so excited about this idea, I wonโt tell you how many sketches I did to find the right pose and layout, lol. Thanks, Tim, for letting me express Vampa in my own way.
I had a feeling you spent much more time than you could spare on this comic, Mark, it was beautifully done! Thank you so very much! ๐
Remembering it’s living again!
Ahhhh, the glory…uhh…I mean, gory days…
Nice crossover. Zombies vs vampires.
It’s undead utopia!
I don’t know how I missed this!
Wow! What a fantastic take on Vampa’s past! Awesome job, Mark!
Vampa sure had fun in his day. There’s a lot of experience wrapped in those wrinkles!
