J.P. Keslensky is the creator of the all ages comic Bug Pudding. It stars a cast of bugs and various other critters from Lake Tuberville. I was fortunate enough to meet J.P. in person recently at Dragon Con in Atlanta. It was great to hang out with him and his daughter Rachel for a while (she is also an artist and draws the comic Last Resort.) She took the photo for us. Thanks Rachel! š
J.P. is at the far right and that’s me in the center. Pay no attention to the guy on the left, that was just a homeless guy looking for beer money (I’m kidding, that’s the one and only Walter Shuler!)
I sent J.P a comic to show him my appreciation for participating in my guest series, but I won’t reveal that here, I’ll let J.P. decide where to post that! Please visit his site and read the Bug Pudding adventures, they are archived and waiting for you to enjoy! š
The secret origin of belfry!
The only hole in that theory is that I’ve seen them in the same room at the same time! š
having both an older and younger brother, I’d also prefer to have a bat. š
Rabies over relatives!
Bat shit crazy….that goes for two of them in the last panel.
You can’t get much crazier than that!
It is surprising how much fun it is to “ape” someone else’s comic. If it weren’t so much extra work, I’d do it more often. Next time I’ll send Slimey the frog over to plant a croak-slam on Sunny. Thanks Tim.
I know how busy most people stay in this industry, that’s why I haven’t asked anybody up until now! I thought I’d just do it all in one lump! š Slimey is always welcome as are you J.P.! š
This is cool! I love J.P.’s rendition of the characters.
I know, George! This month has been a blast so far! It’s so much fun seeing what you guys come up with! š
I’m particularly impressed with the different views of Sunny’s head! J.P. rocks! Of course, you do too Tim.. š
Thanks, Chris!
Sunny’s got an awful amount of love for her older brother! (Emphasis on the awful!) Outstanding job, J.P.! And three of Tim’s great characters, to boot!
I agree, Mark, J.P. did an outstanding job capturing the VTV spirit! š
Mark, You ALWAYS make me laugh! You are a genius!
From a pimply teen to a furry flying rodent. Not much changed!
I love how Vinnie poofs into a pink mushroom cloud. And Sunny’s evil look in that panel downright scares me! Well done, JP!
Well said, I agree! š
